There is no airport on Thassos so you will fly into Kavala and transfer by boat from there. There are direct flights into Kavala from Birmingham, London Gatwick and Manchester.

With pale sand beaches and forests reaching down to the sea, Thassos is truly picturesque. It has 115 kms of coastline with a huge variety of beaches from small, rocky coves to long, golden sands and the mountains reach up to 1200m covered by cypress and pine trees.
This landscape gives the opportunity for activities which aren’t necessarily available on other islands such as horseback riding, off-road driving and mountain biking.
Don’t be put off by the ferry transfer – the island is only 12 miles from the mainland meaning that the transfers are still relatively short (around 40 minutes on the boat and then on to your resort).
Whatever you decide to do on Thassos, whether it be relaxing or exploring, you will find an island that is truly different from any other and one we think you will really enjoy.
