One of the last haunts of true Greece?
Schinoussa is one of the Little Cyclades, a small group of islands off the south coast of Naxos. As one of the smallest inhabited islands, what it lacks in population it makes up for in sheer beauty and generosity from the residents.
The island literally consists of a few tavernas, a handful of cafes and tavernas, some small shops, an ATM, a doctors and a church.
What the island does offer though is at least 15 beaches to choose from. Bring a towel, your Ipod and a few books and settle back into total relaxation. The question is will you want to leave?
Please be aware that due to ferry and flight timings, a stay overnight in Athens, Mykonos, Santorini or Naxos may be required in either direction.
