Ferries arrive/leave into Mytiline. There are daily ferries to Piraeus and connections to other Greek islands, although these should be checked before planning. We can advise on connection times and options at the time of booking.

Untouched by tourism?..........
Greece’s third largest island, Lesvos (or sometimes Lesbos or Mytilini, after its capital) remains mostly untouched by tourism.
The local’s are very proud of their island and so they should be. The interior of the island is mainly fertile plains with picturesque villages which lead to dramatic scenery and wonderful beaches as you reach the coastline.
Lesvos is also famous for the Greek national drink – Ouzo (you really should try some!).
Mytilini has museums and a busy bazaar style market which is well worth the visit.
Three of the main resorts on the island are located in the north west. Anaxos has a 2km long stretch of sand and shingle beach with watersports on offer.
Petra is overlooked by a church on the top of a rocky outcrop and is known for its excellent tavernas. The resort has plenty of facilities to keep everyone happy.
Molyvos is the postcard village. The cobbled streets, pastel houses and pretty fishing harbour all lead up the hill.
