The new fashionista?
Koufonissi is one of the Little Cyclades, a small group of islands off the south coast of Naxos. As one of the smallest inhabited islands, what it lacks in population it makes up for in sheer beauty and generosity from the residents.
It has the most amazing blue waters (yes they really are that blue) and stunning beaches and with a daily highspeed ferry from Piraeus, Mykonos and Naxos it is fast becoming a very fashionable destination with bars such as a converted windmill to enjoy your cocktails whilst watching the sun set.
It's village is typically Cycladic with narrow whitewashed alleyways lined with tavernas and cafes. A small boat takes you to the beaches every day and we recommend Pori beach (the last stop on the boat) where Kalofego serves up modern Greek cuisine with a twist.
Please be aware that due to ferry and flight timings, a stay overnight in Athens or Mykonos may be required in either direction.
